Irena Stanisic

Irena is a creative director & multidisciplinary artist working for some of the key culture setters in Tulum, Mexico. Born in South Africa, raised in Macedonia and the U.S.A. She is continually inspired by her ancestral nomadic ways. She is the DJ Resident of Casa Jaguar in Tulum, and has shared the stage with names like Crazy P & Parallells. The heart of her selection comes from her nomadic upbringing, mixing international influences with a mood strongly shaped by the nature and vibe of Tulum, ranging from disco & groovy to cosmic and deep, paired with African rhythms. She has proudly played for festivals and parties like legendary Fusion Festival, Sunday Sunday Mexico, and the famous Papaya Playa Project.
