LA PAYARA
La Payara has gained fame in the Bogota scene of being the ones that ignite the party in spaces of the local scene such as Videoclub or Cine Tonalá. For Claudio Tantimónaco, leader of this electronic project, what matters most is generating sounds that cause effects on people.
By going to the roots of Colombian music such as bagpipes and drums and mixing them with electronic beats, he has managed to get people to become infected with the best of these two worlds by creating dance rituals in each of his shows.
The appetizer was the EP Conciencia of two songs that he released in 2017 and that served as an impetus so that this year they wanted to finish his first album. La Payara manages to put one foot in the most sublime of electronic music and another in the roots of Colombian music in a subtle and elegant way.
