Magdalena Bay
Magdalena Bay is an American synth-pop duo from Los Angeles consisting of singer-songwriter Mica Tenenbaum and producer Matthew Levin. They are signed to Luminelle Recordings, a label founded by Gorilla vs. Bear’s Chris Cantalini.
They have been noted for their informational TikTok videos on the music industry and their kitschy DIY visuals. They have released three EPs and two mixtapes, called “Mini Mixes,” composed primarily of under two minute songs with accompanying homemade green screen music videos. Their debut album Mercurial World will be released on October 8th, 2021 via Luminelle.
