Reema Asendar

She also facilitates ‘Dance Meditation’ spaces where people can move their bodies intuitively, release bottled up emotion, express their truth, develop courage, and hone their intuition. Ms Asendar was born in Sweileh, Jordan in 1985 to Chechen parents and raised within a Chechen community. She speaks Chechen, adores old Chechen music, and loves her Chechen heritage.

Perhaps that’s why she wrote the word ‘Chechen’ so many times. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Jordan. She served at the office of His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan for over 9 years handling media and communications.

The focus was social development through football across Asia and worldwide. She was part of the campaign which led to the inclusion of headscarf-wearing women in official FIFA matches, as well as Prince Ali’s successful FIFA vice presidency’s election campaign. Reema began a new chapter in 2019. She studied professional coaching with Evolvia; an international coach training school based in Iceland, and picked up Ecstatic Dance DJing and facilitation.

Her next endeavor is the creation of honest and healing music in Arabic, English and Chechen, and creating content about conscious and healthy sexuality, relationships, intimacy, connection, peace, and spirituality. She is carving her way towards authentic and free expression. Reema has traveled through over 35 countries and will brag about it any chance she gets. She believes that many of our life challenges can be solved by listening to our bodies.

She could be wrong though. Wouldn’t be the first time. Her dream is a future with green cities full of vegetables, fruits, colors and hammocks, clean energy, clean food, and us treating each other like the one family that we are. Oh, and insanely advanced, mind-blowing 360 surround sound systems.
