Roy Rosenfeld

Dance With Me

“Currently residing in Tel-Aviv, the capital of Israeli electronic music, but born and raised in the magical streets of Jerusalem.

Already in his youth, he was inspired by the clear air and powerful energy that were circling atop the city, and along the years, Roy Rosenfeld had turned more and more artistic. That is how music, and the creation of it, had become the centerpiece of his life.

Roy had started to play and create electronic music, while developing different qualities and styles, both exciting and colorful, and flowing within the vast and varied musical spectrum that House and Techno music can offer.

Whether it’s dreamy/progressive/melodic/balearic/percussive/micro House or hypnotizing Minimal/Techno – it really doesn’t matter, it all has the unique Roy Rosenfeld sound.

His first steps as a DJ, were as a resident in a Jerusalem based dance-bar, and went on to perform on bigger stages throughout Israel, from open-air festivals to dark basements and leading dance clubs in the big cities. From then on, his passion and musical talents gave him exposure to tremendous audiences around the globe – From Mexico,
Argentina and Brazil, or up north to Canada, stopping by at Berlin, France and most of Europe, and all the way to Singapore, through Ukraine and Russia. In short, where hasn’t he been?

He’s had collaborations with a wide variety of record labels, some of the leading companies in the electronic music scene. Among them you will find several tracks on the outstanding “All Day I Dream” imprint (by Lee Burridge), as well as on the hypnotist “”Lost & Found”” records (by Guy J). ‘Epika’, which he produced with Guy Mantzur is considered as one of 2015’s greatest anthems, and was released on the majestic “”Kompakt”” records (by Michael Mayer). He is also responsible for several underground hits for the legendary “Systematic Recordings” (by Marc Romboy), such as ‘Ahava’ and ‘Tikkva’ (2017) that were released side by side, but the cherry on top is surely ‘Systematika’ (2016), created in collaboration with Mantzur as well, and quickly became an exhilarating and exciting anthem all around the world.

Apart from returning to the major “”All Day I Dream”” label with his magnificent ‘Rumbala EP’, Roy recently released what is already considered to be one of the greatest anthems of 2019, ‘The Biggest Heart’, published on Lee Burridge’s new imprint “”TRYBESof”” in June earlier this year. Some would say it was the soundtrack of this year’s “”Burning Man””, while simultaneously capturing hearts on dance floors all around the globe.

In addition to the momentum of ‘The Biggest Heart’, Roy has released another EP, this time on Sébastien Léger’s new label “”Lost Miracle”” that includes the A-side ‘Hypnosa De La Rosa’. The B-side ‘Creme’, is his first ever collaboration track with the French maestro, Sébastien Léger.

Having many top hits in the sales charts, winning contests and awards, and collaborating with some of the most respected artists, had all gained Roy massive recognition and support by major superstars, such as: Solomun, Dixon, Lee Burridge, Black Coffee, Guy Gerber, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Michael Mayer, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Luciano, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn and many others. The list even goes on to Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Deadmau5 and Groove Armada.

With such successes, Roy still finds the time for a packed DJ schedule, with 2019 witnessing a monumental demand for his inimitable sound from across the world. His acclaimed US debut included several “”All Day I Dream”” showcases, for whom he also played in Ibiza and Mykonos. Highlights from this year also include “”Tomorrowland Festival”” (BE), “”We Are Lost Festival”” (NL), “”EchoWaves Festival”” (GE), “”Return to Rio”” (AU) and “”Nom”” (ESP), just to mention a few.”
