Spaniol
Felipe Torquato aka Spaniol is the creator and resident of the Colectivo Sonido Trópico of São Paulo with whom he created transcendental parties in the city center. At 7 years old he chose a path of music and to never stray. At the age of 9 entered the São Paulo Conservatory, where he studied Classic guitar and Flutes until his 16 when he discovered electronic music by a lucky mistake!
His sound is a mixture of all that surrounds him, having played in the biggest clubs in Berlin (Katerblau, Sysifos), Brazil, Ibiza and the US. He takes elements of classical music and flashes of Brazilian popular music, managing to make his live set a unique and edgy mix of electronic, caimbó, jazz, samba, regional music, drum machines, but without taking the electronic energy.”
